Grissini welcomes back 2 Michelin-starred guest Chef Gaetano Trovato from 17th to the 25th February 2012. Chef Gaetano will present his special dishes at Grissini after his first visit 3 months ago which received overwhelming responses.

Having grown up in Tuscany and worked in Michelin-starred Arnolfo Restaurant, Chef Gaetano specializes in Tuscan cuisine. Chef Gaetano carefully selects the best seasonal produce to create quality and delicate dishes to ensure a memorable gastronomic experience.

Chef Gaetano will deliver a promising feast for both the eyes and palate. Special dishes include Scampi with Goose Liver Escalope and Strawberries; Lemon Risotto with Blue Lobster and D.O.P. Saffron from San Gimignano and Pigeon Breast and Leg, Goose Liver with Hazelnuts and Coffee. We will offer a choice of 3-course set menu at $550+10% per person or a 4-course at $620+10% per person during lunch and a choice of a 3-course set menu at $ 780+10% per person or a 5-course set menu at $ 1,150+10% per person during dinner. Wine pairing menu or a la carte menu will also be available.

About Chef Gaetano Trovato

Born in Sicily but growing up in Tuscany, Chef Gaetano Trovato is the chef and owner of Arnolfo Ristorante, a 2 Michelin-starred restaurant in Colle di Val d'Elsa Sienna, Italy.

With over 30 years of culinary experience and having studied in Italy, Switzerland and France, Chef Gaetano chooses the best ingredients of the season, utilizes a simple cooking method to allow guests to taste the optimal flavors of the freshest produce. Chef Gaetano’s Italian cuisine is a mix of his personal creations with respect for culinary traditions.
