An Authentic Argentinean Barbecue Dinner Experience at The Grill

When it comes to experiencing the true taste of Argentina, few culinary traditions capture the essence of the country quite like the art of grilling. Poolside dining destination The Grill has partnered with the Consulate General of Argentina to bring in Chef Juan Ignacio Barcos from the celebrated Buenos Aires restaurant Madre Rojas to introduce authentic Argentinean flavours to The Grill’s barbecue dinner from now until 30 November.

A veteran chef, sommelier and Wagyu breeder, Chef Juan has been promoting Argentinean food culture through his restaurant Madre Rojas in Buenos Aires, serving premium cuts of Argentinean Wagyu meat from Barcos & Sons and La Julia Organics. This time for two weeks starting from 9 September, he will be helming The Grill at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, bringing his Argentinean flavours and quality produce all the way to Hong Kong.

Highlights of the Chef Juan’s special Argentinean menu include a range of Argentinian appetizers such as refreshing scallop and prawn ceviche, Argentinian Wagyu carpaccio,  specialty salads, Atlantic lobsters and other premium seafood on ice, and many more.

Over at the charcoal grill, featured Argentinean specialties include Argentinean Wagyu flank skewers, red curry humita with Argentinean chorizo, Ossobuco empanadas with cheese and onion; organic angus steak with roasted leeks on the carving station, and of course, chocolate alfajores, and bread pudding with caramel au beurre salé to end the Argentinean meal on a sweet note.

Besides the authentic Argentinean spread, The Grill will also be serving Argentinean wines specially handpicked by Chief Sommelier Maxime Duval to pair with the Argentinean specialties.

And for 2 nights only on 9 and 22 September, there will be live tango performances from Let’s Tango and Otro Tango Dance Studio during the barbecue dinner for a fully immersive and entertaining Latin American dinner experience! Don’t miss the sensational performances, available at 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM on both nights.

The Argentinean-themed barbecue dinner will be available from now until 30 November 2023.
